When I started Boxer & Mutt 10 years ago, there wasn't much of a vision for it. I was just happy to take a break from a job that I didn't love, and my plan was to spend some time breathing again. I started freelancing for some former colleagues, mostly in the web design and development space, and my CPA encouraged me to start an official business. He asked for the business name—I looked at my office mates (my two dogs) for ideas, and Boxer & Mutt was born.

As time went on and I realized I wouldn't be going back to a 9-5 anytime soon, I started dreaming about what Boxer & Mutt could become. I found so much inspiration and life in working with creative people who inspired me and entrepreneurs who were pursuing their own dreams. I decided to make a shift from a sole focus on web to a full-service agency model for entrepreneurs, dreamers, innovators, creatives, risk takers, and companies going against the grain.
I knew Boxer & Mutt needed a brand refresh that would be as vibrant and imaginative as the clients that we work with. I wanted to develop an identity that was colorful, fun, playful, with a nod to the hospitality community that we love. After months of brand development with my colleague Frank Norton, and a lengthy trademark approval process, I am excited to share that Boxer & Mutt is officially transitioning to Super Crunch Studio.
Over the last two years…
What does that mean for our work together?
Honestly, not much. You'll start to see the new Super Crunch branding on materials during the coming weeks. The team will remain the same, although we've been slowly adding to our roster of talent, and I hope we can continue to grow the team as we bring on new projects.
